Well they may not of gotten the rights from Ford for the Rover name, hence Roewe (because according to the Chinese, they pronounced Rover as Roewe anyway), but if they did, it’d be the first Rover SUV ever (no I’m not including the Road Rover, etc... as they were either concepts or ‘Rover ...’ or ‘.... Rover’.
